Accredited through the Interior Arrangement and Design Association
and as a Real Estate Enhancement Specialist (RES), I have
assisted dozens of clients to create beautiful spaces in their
homes. My greatest pleasures are a result of seeing the reaction
on a client's face when they discover the true potential of their
home and belongings.
Community Involvement
Community projects include over 4 years as volunteer
design coordinator for Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity and design
consultation for the new Park County Crisis Center. I am an active
Executive Committee member of the Women of Evergreen
Businesses organization, and am a regular contributor to Mountain
Connection, a publication devoted to life in the mountain communities
surrounding Evergreen, Colorado. My work has been featured in national
design publications which include Mountain
Living and Boulder
County Home & Garden magazines, in addition to being
published in regional
publications.
Background
My formal training at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) followed
a childhood immersed in art and design. I completed my first design
projects at an early age, creating lavish homes for my dolls with
shoe boxes and clippings from the Sears and Roebuck catalog. As
a child, I spent summers in Europe visiting family and was inspired
by the beauty of the landscapes, the magnificence of the castles
and the charm of old world architecture. I truly believe that these
early encounters played a significant role in fostering my love
of design.
Growing up in upstate New York, I followed my natural instinct
as an artist - painting and drawing, spending most of my school
years in the art room creating. My lifetime of experiences has shown
me that my creativity and passion for design is a gift that comes
from within, with much thanks to my parents for both their artistic
heritage and their encouragement!
