Industrial Mountain Home

This unique industrial-meets-mountain home was featured on HGTV’s Extreme Homes. Designed for “zero maintenance,” it is constructed from I-beams, tons of steel and concrete.

This kitchen was designed around commercial shelving, sinks and cabinets.

Corten steel panels were used throughout the home for wall coverings, exterior siding, this kitchen island surround and most of the interior doors which slide open on roller tracks.

The entry was designed also as a greenhouse in which palm trees were shipped in from San Diego, CA.

Spiral staircase was designed to intertwine around a copper water feature.

Dining table was custom built. The wood was split open and book-matched with edges left natural.

Custom “chair lift” swing chairs were fabricated, upholstered and positioned to look at amazing snowcap mountain views.

The commercial lighting fixtures were strategically hung at different elevations to achieve a wave-effect in the evening.
